Weighted Hyperextension (On Stability Ball)

compoundlower backbodyweight
Form cues
- 1Position hips/pelvis on top of the ball with feet braced wide against a wall or anchored for balance, and hinge at the hips so your torso can hang and rise freely over the ball
- 2Hold the weight plate or dumbbell close to your chest and cross your arms over it to keep the load centered over your spine throughout the movement
- 3Raise your torso by squeezing glutes and lower back until your body forms a straight line from head to heels, avoiding any hyperextension past neutral at the top
