Barbell Incline Shoulder Raise

compoundchestbarbell
Form cues
- 1Lie chest-down on an incline bench, arms hanging straight with a light barbell or plate held in both hands, and protract shoulder blades before raising it forward and up
- 2Keep elbows nearly straight and lead with a slight upward push through the arms, focusing on rounding the upper back at the top rather than lifting with the shoulders
- 3Move slowly and control the descent, letting the shoulder blades fully retract and depress before the next rep to maximize serratus anterior engagement
